Rev. Canon Njiru is currently the Provost St. Paul’s Ack Cathedral, Embu. She has a wealth of knowledge in the matters of religion and has a strong biblical background. Previously, she has worked as the Parish Priest, Rural Dean, Archdeacon and as Diocesan Administrative Secretary. She has attended several workshops and short courses including Diploma in Social Work at Mindolo Eumerical Foundation in Zambia; Theological training at Kabare; Leadership in Development at Daystar University, Kenya; Women Leadership Training at National Council of Churches, Limuru, Kenya; HIV/AIDS Counselling at Agape Counselling Centre, Kenya, among others. Rev. Canon Njiru is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Transformative Women in Leadership Network (TWILN). She is a spirit-filled believer with several years of experience in church Ministry. She has vast experience in youth ministry and very passionate about community outreach. She is generous as an individual and always willing to lend a hand to the less fortunate in our society.
